Collect, Level Up, Conquer: Mode Basketball - The NFT Trading Card Game on Mode Network
Introduction:
Mode Basketball is an innovative blockchain-based NFT game that combines the thrill of basketball with the power of the Mode Network. Built on the principles of transparency, fairness, and P2E gameplay, Mode Basketball aims to create a fun gaming experience where players can collect, and compete with unique NFT player cards. By leveraging the cutting-edge features of the Mode network, we're introducing a game that offers exciting gameplay and potentially rewarding opportunities for users.
Key Features:
Unique NFT Player Cards:
Mode Basketball introduces a collection of unique NFT player cards representing basketball positions: guard, forward, and center.
Each NFT player card possesses distinct attributes and stats that influence gameplay performance.
Dynamic Player Stats:
The player stats for each NFT card are randomly assigned during the minting process.
Guard NFTs have stats are pass, shoot 3-pointer, and steal.
Forward NFTs have stats are 3-pointer, steal, and defense.
Center NFTs have stats are block, defense, and shoot.
NFT Minting and Rarity:
Minting of NFTs will begin on specific dates: March 18th for Guard NFTs, March 25th for Forward NFTs, and April 1st for Center NFTs.
Each position has a limited supply of 1000 NFTs, including 5 visually distinct art variations and a rare gold all-star card variant.
The chance of minting an all-star card NFT is set at 10%, adding an element of excitement to the minting process.
Skill Token:
Mode Basketball introduces the Skill token, the in-game utility token that fuels the gameplay economy.
Skill tokens are used to level up NFT player cards, enhancing their performance and capabilities.
All Skill tokens used to upgrade an NFT will be sent to an address and burnt.
Gameplay Mechanics:
Users can assemble a team of three NFT player cards, one for each position (Guard, Forward and Center).
Engage in 2 a day matches against computer AI teams of varying difficulty levels: rookie, starter, and all-star. The harder the team you face, the more Skill token you're rewarded.
The game mechanics simulate matchups between the user's team and the AI opponents, determining the winner based on simulated head to head matchups to determine outcomes.
Skill Token Rewards:
Winning games against AI opponents rewards users with Skill tokens.
The amount of Skill tokens earned is based on the level of difficulty of the computer team chosen and the overall combined stats of the user team.
There will be 10 million tokens created. Two million Skill tokens will be used for each season of Mode Basketball. A season will consist of 100 total games a user can play and earn tokens.
NFT Upgrades:
Users can utilize Skill tokens to upgrade their NFT player cards, improving their stats and enhancing performance.
Each upgrade costs a specific amount of Skill tokens, with higher levels requiring increased token investment.
Mode Network Integration:
Mode Basketball is built on the Mode network, leveraging its robust infrastructure and cheap gas fees.
NFTs are minted using the USDC token, providing a seamless and secure user experience.
Conclusion: Mode Basketball is set to revolutionize the world of NFT-based basketball gaming. With its unique NFT player cards, gameplay mechanics, tokenomics and the integration of the Skill token, the game offers a rewarding experience for players on the Mode network.
